Da Vinci Code

Like in the book, this movie was fast-paced too. The movie was good. It didn't get boring with all the narration. The girl who portrayed Sophie Noveu(?) is cute. Silas made me quite remember the Powder guy - the movie where an albino was the lead. The "teacher" was played by Gandalf or Ian McKellen hehe. I've read the book before so I kinda know where the movie was heading.

Can't believe that this book/movie stirred such a reaction from the christian world. They're banning this movie. There was a newspaper article on the front page about this the other day. The real opus dei member and the movie's depiction of an opus dei member (Silas). But I think if you watched the movie and read the book, it clearly says on the end that it's up to you what to believe.

Aside from the movie, it was my first time to watch a movie in a movie house here in New Zealand. It was small compared to rockwell and greenbelt. I think that rockwell and greenbelt are better. But my sister said the cinema in Wellington is bigger. Still have to see that though.

Saw trailers of some movies coming soon. Next on my list: X-men 3. Hehehe! Kinda liked the new comedy movie of adam sandler - Click - maybe I'll watch it - something to make me laugh here...
