Zathura

Haven't researched much on this film, but it was great. somehow being kids is always better than being an adult. not just because you can play all day, sit around, slack off, be honest and nice to friends. but mainly just being plain innocent dumb. i think thats one thing that people often overlook. being dumb gives you power beyond any intelligent man can have. it's the simplicity of being one, simplicity on dreams, situations and love. there is not much room for logic just plain feel and intuition. this film captured it like all other kid films.. the intelligent ones that is. Jumanji, Harry Potter, Millions, and now this one Zathura. well pretty entertaining and amazing visuals. great cinematography and good cast. feel like a critic here hahahhaha....

Pitch Black

Prequel to the Chronicles of Riddick and i must say that its quite entertaining and has a good concept. nothing too big though but it was nicely laid out. Aliens and all with vin diesel and stuff but somehow just the simplicity on how they made the intergalactic society. nothing too flashy like star trek or whatever. the aesthetics is still there... i believe that we will never let go of art since our culture keeps on evolving. so its going to be there always. not unless some dumb ass country would try to dominate the world and the universe... that's fucked up. then im sure all art and culture of every country will be wiped out... then we just move over to the universe to start our own... like living on the warmness on mars.. and there it will branch out to religion and other stuff. The Earth is getting too small of our dreams and aspirations. well mainly just EGO.

Starship Troopers

Back in college or high school i think. i find this movie amazing. but when i was in art school i found it too stupid, since i have been studying all the technicals of art and stuff. somehow i never saw the humor and the real message the director was putting out. its really not pro human, american or whatever. more of pointing the finger on ourselves. our neverending envy for power. it really got me thinking about how we were built. adding a recipe of choice. being capable to create, evolve and multiply. those are the main powers that we have and we search for more. somehow our mixture is really to endure forever. like a never ending loop or line in space. it also made me think something so far fetched but really hit it. like the end of the world would just be a start of another world in another constellation in another galaxy in another planet. like how the Bible puts it. armagedon... new heaven and earth for saved souls.

DVD TV series marathon. Ha! hehhehe.... well this sums up everything for me. being dumb is great... but we are incapable of. we get wiser every minute we live.
