Good news. Bad news.

Good news: I got a mobile phone line that has 150 free texts - national and international - and it would only cost me NZ $25 per month. Not bad considering I top up my prepay sim that I have now every 2 weeks and the minimum load I can get is $20. Plus my number is easy to memorize. It's 021-686.... hehe :) But I told the guy at Vodafone to set up a credit limit for me of $40 per month so I could control the use of my mobile phone - not that I have any textmates here or anything.

Bad news: I thought I was going to go home with a PS2 console on hand but I'm afraid I did not :c I tried to apply for a 'hire purchase' for the PS2 console (that's what they call it here if you wanted to get something on installment), but apparently I still have to come back with the following conditions: 1) a downpayment of $60, 2) a proof of residency, and 3) a 'guarantor' (someone who would pay the thing that I got in case something happen to me). I brought my passport with me and my proof of residence is in the passport but the girl who took my request didn't photocopied my 'permanent resident permit' which is on the passport. But I learned something though - that it's another company that takes care of the credit/lending thing and even though the promo on the newspaper says it's e.g. $2.84 per week, well it's not. There's also an added interest to that. Oh well...I was really excited to get my hand on that PS2 console...

I also went with my sisters on my sister anna mae's friend luvleigh's birthday celebration. After drinking 3 glasses of sparkling wine, I was already tipsy.. But that's me, I get drunk easily. Hehehe :)
